Africa seems to be where it's at these days. A guy I work with is from Tanzania, and he says that Zanzibar is the place to go for a good time. Not sure if that fits with your "on a shoestring" plans though, hehe. Apparently on the mainland you can get 100yrds of beachfront for like 20 g's, so you could maybe check that out for me :P...
